A Clean Sweep!
New London Neighbors grabbed their rakes, brooms, and shovels and cleaned up Locust Ave from the train station to the Middle School and Kennedy Park while forging friendships. Want to organize a clean up on your New London Neighborhood Street? Contact us!
The Burlington
Farmer's Market
Eating healthy, organic, farm-grown produce is key to good health. The Main Street Burlington Farmer's Market runs April through September in conjunction with Food Truck Tuesdays from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. on the Promenade.
New London Gets Lit!
The parking lot on East Federal Street across from the train now sports some bright new lights, making the parking lot more secure for all. The new lights shine beneath trendy black gooseneck shades reflecting the historical vibe of the New London Neighborhood.
Neighborhood Facelifts Expertly Done.
Habitat for Humanity has been hard at work for two years improving the New London houses we live in - at no cost to the homeowner! Through the NJ NPP grant, Habitat and a crew of volunteers put up shutters, paint, fix porches, replace gutters, tend to landscaping and debris removal, repair damaged siding and much much more! Neighborhood
Yard Sale Day
A neighborhood is all about the people working together to make their piece of the world the best place it can be to live and play. And work and play the neighbors of Locust Ave did by holding a block long yard sale in June. Closets, basements and attics were cleaned out and whatever didn't sell was donated to The Vietnam Vets. The NPP grant offset costs of tables and promotion. We can help you organize a yard sale on your New London block, too. Contact:
